History Parrotlets

Forpuscoelestisis is commonly known as pacific parrotlets and Celestial Parrotlets. These are small parrots and this species is related to the Psittacidae family. They are found in Peru and Ecuador. They are native to tropical dry forests, subtropical forests, moist areas, lowland forests, heavily degrades former forest and lands of dry shrubs. They have come from South America.

They have large personalities and small sizes. They contain lighter blue streaking back from the eyes, grey and olive green bodies. For having a dark green back and light green feathers on the face with a variety of colored wings, they are attractive birds.

Baby Parrotlet Parrots

They do not have a set breeding season. They can reproduce the whole year. It is better that they do not have more than three to four clutches per year. Each clutch contains three to four babies. They are able to reproduce at the age of four to six years but do not let them reproduce before eight years.

They need a healthy diet to produce healthy clutches. Female incubates eggs for nineteen to twenty-two days. The male provides feed to her female in the nest. They live in the same hole and sleep commonly in the same nest box as one another.
